Ok so i need some help with an issue that has been giving me a bit of trouble. Im not sure how exactly to explain this but here goes...
Is there anyone who has any ideas on how to export vector graphics from illustrator into sketchup while preserving the color information?
I am rendering the interior of a retail display and the client wants his clothes to be hanging on the racks. All i have from the client are simple vector drawings in illustrator format. The client does not need me to model the clothing and is fine with me simply stacking flat vector drawings on top of each other to simulate clothing on hangers. The problem is that i do not know how to do this. if i were not rendering this image through vray, and simply exporting a sketchup image, i would export each of the vector files as pdf's and stack them on top of each other. Unfortunately, vray does not read the pdf's correctly. Anyone have any ideas
