  • rendermesh is shown on final image

    Hello to the forum-members,

this is the first time, I´m using this forum and I´m not very experiencenced with VRay yet.

Hopefully somebody can help me with this kind of troubles:
I´m doing a final rendering (VRAY/RHINO). Some objects are always rendered with the rendermesh shown on the surface. It doesn´t matter, wether the mesh is very dense or not. It reacts like a shadow becoming wider or taller when I change the light´s shadow bias. What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks ahead for your help

      Hello Micha,

thanks for your reply - but something different has been the reason.

Finally I found it out on my own. The "shadow radius" was responsible for it – or better the value I set it to.

Staying below 0.1 everything was fine. But if I put it higher, the effect startet and the mesh structure became visible.

So, I think the problem is solved.

      Greetings

Ah, I see you used a high bias value, so it could be a shadow bias problem of your settings. Try the standard value 0 and maybe you can use high radius values again.
