  • Distributed Rendering with frames instead of buckets

Hello. I have a question about Vray Distributed Rendering.
Is it possible to DR frames instead of buckets ?
It's seems that Vray DR is setup to use buckets only.
My concern with this is each frame is then held up by the slowest machine.
Whereas distributing frames means the fast machines can chew through as many frames as they can.
    Thanks !

To be more concice. Can Vray standalone be used to network render, as opposed to distrubuted render ?
    Thanks

      Hi,
As far as I know it can't do this automatically.
But you could use some kind of a render farm manager, they distribute single frames instead of buckets.
