What is vray raycaster "tree build quality".

It has 0 hits on google (my 1st time EVER??!!)

Can it up the memory usage of renders ?

It changes the algorithm used to build the V-Ray SD tree raycaster. Would be best not to touch it right now, until the next official update But yes, it can increase memory usage - in most cases, this leads to faster renders too.

could you advise on how to use it (even though you suggest not touching it until the next release)

it seems similar to BSP in mental ray, no?

Does it behave in Maya the same way it does in 3DMax?
