  • "inf" value in my light?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue before. Whenever I re-open my Maya scene I find that the Intensity Multiplier value for each of my lights has been changed to an "inf" and the scene will not render. It renders a black frame, and outputs warnings for every material stating something about overbright/nan pixels.

The only way I've found to fix this is to lock the value for each of my lights. This seems to stick upon re-opening the scene. However, this will prove difficult to deal with as I'm working with a lot of lights and many scenes. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hm, I thought that was fixed a long time ago. Which version of V-Ray are you using?

    Best regards,

Hi Vlado! Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not sure the exact build number. But we're using VRay for Maya 1.5 SP1, on OSX. I'm freelancing here so I don't know the exact build #, but I've asked about which build number we're currently using and can get that to you when I find out...
