  • Renderpicture in Trancparancy

    Hello

is there anyone to explain me, how can i render me render picture in vray in a transparancy form for using in other picture-edit-programm.

For example: i want to render a scene without the Background scene for a powerpoint presentation.

I have read about the Alpha Channel, but the result is a White picture without the Object.

    many thanks for help

Maybe you can elaborate. You have to save your image in a format that supports the alpha channel , like a tiff or png. You change the color of the background in MAX's Environment and Effects panel. You'll want to change the Background color to black.

Try saving as a PNG format. If you save a jpg, you will not have transparency in your image.

thanks, i have tryed it and saved as a PNG-file, but the file still stay in Photoshop Black and White, but i want my Object with the reflection Material not as White.
i must search another solution, but i think the problem is in the adjusting of Vray.
          thanks for the request

Do you mean you are trying to get the background to show up in your reflection?

What do you mean the file is black and white in photoshop? Are you opening only the alpha channel file?

use an HDRI in a dome and turn on invisible, or use the V-Ray environment reflection slot.

No, the reflection of object to background is not so important, it is important i have a trancparenty background, and an Object with a reflection Material as chrome or aluminium, here another example for understanding:
i have a sphere, and i gave him an aluminium material, than i adjust in Vray option enviromoment to make Background White. Then i render it, after that i switch to alpha cahnnel in the Frame buffer an save this as png-file. In the moment to switch to a alpha channel the Backgroung change to Black and the Sphere Object take white (without aluminium material). When i open the File, i see the same picure before, background black the sphere white (without aluminium material.).

when it helps, i would attend a picture example in the tread

                    hi rene,
i have tried you instruction about unabling the alpha channel. It is a wonderful feeling for this success, many thanks.
in the next days i will tried the same prozess, but with a little reflection of Object in the Plane-ground to create a realistic Image.

                    thank you.
