I'm on the 2.0 beta program, and there isn't a build for VRay 1.5 yet, so I'm using scanline. Is there a way to render a reflection of the smoke only in scanline? If I tell it to not be visible to camera it still renders.
the 1.5 build was fixed in friday, i suppose it's already in the nightlies and will be released the next week.
i'm not sure what you mean with "reflection", but as i remember there is a raytracing material in scanline, that can be used for mirrors and glasses. is it not working with phoenix?
i see. wel, the simulator is not a geometry and all the object properties are by default not supported, including the "visible to camera" option. just remind me tomorrow and i will add support for this option.
