  • Vray does not render an object behind an aobject with refraction

    Hi,

So, when I render an object behind a glass (Vray Mtl with refraction 1) all goes smoothly, but, if I render an imported object (even if I export and import a new cube) everything behind the glass does not render, it becomes invisible. I checked the visible in refraction box in the object properties. The scene is new, with a dome light and an HDRi. Just two objects, a cube, and a glass (with thickness, but just a plane does the same problem).
Any ideas? Maybe some import bug or property I forgot?? Since I unwrap in UVLayout I need to import objects.

    Thank you all.

Update: If I import the object into 3dsMax and export as FBX the problem is solved.

I hope to find a solution inside Maya...
    Some Importing issues maybe?

Are you importing obj object? if so sometime the "view in reflection and refraction" is off.
