As far as I know (and this is the way I've always done it), what you are getting is correct. If you save your render as a .png file, the background will be transparent, and then you composit it in photoshop (or the equivalent)

      thx DCAULDWELL

but what I meant is that it does not render whole view, just part of it as shown on attached pictures

Mmmm . . - note sure on this. It sounds like you have run out of memory, although the model seems simple enough. My only suggestion is to reduce the size of the buckets and try again, (i.e. if you are using version vray 1.49.01 - system-settingsregiongenerator-height/width - reduce these from say 128 to 64 less)
Otherwise, I've not come across this before.
(If you sate what memory and processor you are running, it will people a better idea of the problem)
          Good luck

eMBePe this is a common problem if you are using SU 7 simply choose the walk tool and click once on the scene, this will take you out of Photomatch mode and allow you to render your scene.

If you are using SU 8 you will have to go to the Camera menu then down to the field of view command the will give you the field of view measurement just input those same measurement and press return, this will then take you out of Photomatch mode, though the scene may be further away the angles should be the same.

                Hi there,,

I had the same problem when rendering with photomatch.
for overcoming the problem I did a little trick,, simply position your mouse on the center of the sketchup screen and scroll back (zoom out) a little bit, (in this stage the matched photo will be disappear). and render the scene,, in this case you can be sure that the orientation of the model regarding the captured photo has not been changed, just the size is changing regarding the zoom out factor.. and finally in photoshop you can rescale your rendered model to fit in the captured photo exactly. (I used this method and it worked for me properly,,)

another method came to my mind right now:
open the options of vray - click on output - there is an option for overriding the viewport, enable this option, now render your scene, by using this method the output (render) will be equal to the exact size of your viewport screen.

plz tell me about the results of each method
                Regards
                NJ

hey guys, hehe, you were close, but that's not the right method....
you have to go to the camera settings and "decrease" the zoom value to .75...
believe me, i make a lot of matched renders...
in previous versions we only needed to save the image with the same outpud of the original picture, in the newer versions we have this problem, and because of that, we do have to render with a little bigger output so we do not loose resolution by stretching the render to make it fit with the background in post production...

All, I'm trying to accomplish this as well and the .75 zoom factor, as well as the getting out of photo match options are not working. When in the photo match view, the .75 doesn't change the view at all, and with the other method, the camera zooms out, but the perspective changes. Anyone?
