Render output don't have alpha when use imageplane in camera?

  • Render output don't have alpha when use imageplane in camera?

    Because of I want to get refraction from imageplane.

    But when use imageplane the rendering output will don't have alpha.

    Can we use other method? and get result look like use imageplane.

    I think this is not problem of V-Ray but Maya itself. As option you may create a polyplane and attach it to your camera as background (just align it and then make as a child). Then put a lambert material on it with all parameters with 0 value but incandenscense is with your picture or sequence. Then turn off the "Primary visibility" attribute of your polyplane. It works for Maya Software render and for V-Ray too.
