1) Figured out how to install V-Ray for Skp on my Mac OSX
- the plug-ins folder first said it could not be found, so I manually moved the vray plug-ins into HD/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/plugins
2) However, when I attempted to render my model (I later tried rendering a simple white cube to check), I receive the error message:
"We have encountered error(s) while trying to render..."
I typed ASGVIS into Finder then went to ASGVIS\VfS\vfs_stderr.txt to see what it said about my problem. This is what it said:
File "/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/Plugins/RubyToPython/ASGVIS/vrayrender.py", line 199, in initRenderer
raise Exception("Invalid V-Ray Plugin load wildcard provided...no libraries loaded %s" % vray_plugins_load_wildcard )
Exception: Invalid V-Ray Plugin load wildcard provided...no libraries loaded /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/Plugins/RubyToPython/vrayplugins/libvray*.so
Any hints on what to do? I need a rendering by Friday and I'd rather not use FormZ!
Joe - e-mail back please!
