Can anyone give me a link to the render presets page, I just can't seem to find it anywere.

do be aware that a lot of those old visopts will not work properly in the current build, ie. you might not even be able to start a render, or you may get unexpected results.

Not that I'm aware of. The default settings are quite good now. I usually start from those and add in things like HDRI background, increase the GI, change camera settings, increase subdivisions for render quality... etc.

If anyone from CG is listening - it might be helpful to post some of the visopts from the tutorials. I know the materials typically get posted, why not the option settings too.

The visopt of the tutorial s are basically what you said, the default setting with small modifications. But if you still want some of the visot I can upload them for you. Please tell me what tutorial's visopt you want.
