Hi, i have just came across some color profile issue and now i am very confussed and have to solve this relatively quickly. I think this was a nice place to ask for enlighthing and advice.
I have a dell U2410 monitor, and i always use it in its sRBG preset mode (it has also an AdobeRGB, and a Standard mode. This standard one is very similar to the normal behaviour of a typical consumer LCD monitor.)
Untill now, i had no problems because the images i was producing were for printing and the outputs always looked right. Now i have to provide some images for web based communication, but the colors of the images i see ok, are way off in standard lcd monitors.
I dont want to color correct each image before sending previews or final images, but instead try to convert to some profile in Photoshop, which is narrower than the srgb space and more similar to a consumer monitor. Kind of a more mechanic procedure.
Can you tell me what am i doing wrong? i thought until now that i had some understanding of colour management, but reallity have prove me wrong.
Thanks in advance.
