Vray Override material

Hi,

Are there any plans for a Vray Override material in Vray for Rhino? I am looking for solutions to desaturate the GI. Only option I can see is the global setting in the render settings.

(1) try saturation at the indirect illumination settings or
(2) set override material color at the global switches to white, render the GI to the cache files and than use the caches for your final render

Thanks for the reply, they are the only solutions I have found. A Vray Override material would be great though.

Yes, could be great. Also good for a quick AO or outline pass.
