  • Problems with VRAY Scene Background

    Hi,

i'm using Vray 1.5 and have the following problem. Everytime when I render my scene I receive the following result. How can I get rid of the streaks (marked in the red squares)? I just want to get a smooth background without streaks.

    Thanks for your Support.

Try to render without reflective GI caustics.
I'm 90% sure thats the reason for those artifacts.

Thanks for the quick answer, but unfortunately I receive the same render result. When I turn indirect illumination generally off, the artifacts are gone. But thats the main function of vray.

      What could be the failure???

What if you set Irradiance map mode to "single frame". ...just to be sure, that you are not loading some wrong ir map, when having it in "from file" mode.

          Problem solved

Thank you! It worked well. I had an old Map. When I rendered it without reflection causics into a new map all problems were gone!!!

Now I have the problem, when I render a animation and crate a irradiance and light cage file, the problems (artifacts) come up again at frame 300. What can I do to avoid that problem?
