    My latest interior render.

  • #2
    I played a bit with photoshop and made a wired framed style like Nomeradona did here;

    http://www.nomeradona.blogspot.com/2...hup-style.html

The only problem I had is when I exported the wiredframe 2D graphics from sketchup, it wasnt the same size as my render.
This because I set the camera to 0.7 zoom in the vray options. Does anyone know a trick for this?

    Cheers,
    Salaheddine

Been puzzling with photoshop. I tried to create a colorful and happy mood in this render.

made some great tutorials. You can download the psd's on their facebook page.

what version are you using? It looks like you're not getting smoothing of curved surfaces.
I like your first image just fine. Maybe you can just adjust the color to be more warm, I think the other two iterations are just too busy.

I'm using Sketchup 8, the latest version. With vray 1.48.96.
I tried to get it smooth after your comment @ sketchucation, but it didn't work (yet).

I find the other two pics overwhelming too.
This morning I started a new model for my first client! lol
I have some free time this week, no school. So I made some impression photos for a kitchen.
Client wanted to see how a cooking island fits in the space. Some of the furniture will be familiar to you,
because the client didn't know which specific style she wanted so I used some of the stuff of the forum.
But still I tried to make the renders unique and more restrained.

          Your critics are welcome!

            @ Andy

I tweaked the first render a bit, set a warm mood and added blur.

              excellent work,,
I also read Nomeradona's tutorial, he mentioned a plugin there which will synchronize the sketchup viewport and vray, it's name is ‘Camera Sync‘ by Thomas Thomassen (AKA thomthom).
I haven't try it myself but I think this may solve your problem
