Is this the right forum to post bugs for Phoenix for Maya ?

    If so here comes:

    I am using maya 2012 win 7 64.

I have followed the video ( Phoenix FD for Maya Оverview - MARCH 2012 ) and repeated the exact same steps.
Alltough I see that the icons have changed from the video to "phoenixFD_adv_20000_maya2012_vray_20_x64".

This is what I have done.
    1. Create a Phoenix FD 3D fluid Simulator.
    2. Set the units in the Grid tab of the fluid Simulator to centimeter and the cell size to 2. Set the width and depth to 40, height to 80.
    3. Create a polysphere to emit from.
    4. Create a Phoenix FD fluid source.
    5. Connect the emit geo to the fluid source by clicking the associated nodes/faces in the Source Parameters of the fluid source node and selected the fluid source in the left column and the emit geo in the right.
    6. Press the Start/Stop simulation.

    And nothing happens ?

    Am I missing something ?

    Best Regards,
    Johan

I realized that the 3D fluid "container" needs to be selected to make it work. so now the simulation is working as expected.
But When I try to render with VRay I get nothing. just black.

    Any Ideas ?

    BR,
    Johan

The right forum is Phoenix FD beta.
For rendering, you need VRay for Maya 2.1 at least. Check out this page:
