  • Grass reflectance

What is the setting to remove the reflectance of the green grass on to other objects.
in all of my renderings the grass casts a green color on the soffits and walls of my buildings...
    any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    scott

It's your GI Saturation. There are different ways of dealing with this.

        I don't know Sketchup, but I'm sure it's similar:

        1. You can globally turn down your GI Saturdation in your render controls
        2. You can apply an override material (in Max) to use a different material completely for GI Computation, make this GI material the same just desaturated (probably the best solution so you don't lose all GI Color bleed).
        3. Fix your lighting setup so you don't have to use these kinds of tweaks.

        Maybe this will help,

One solution is to change your material to a gray color, calculate your light cache and then save it (you can select calculate GI only in global options.) Then change back to your original color, and use the LC map "from file" that you saved.

I was having that problem, too. just use the material override in VRAY and set the override to gray. However, I will look into the other suggestions given earlier in the thread.

Andybot suggestion is the best solution for colorbleed...

Just bear in mind though that an image without colour bleed is not a physically accurate one!
