    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm going to render an fly-through animation using Vray 2.0,3ds max 2010 64bit,I precalculated the light cache and irradiance map,and the render result is like this below:

as marked with the red rectangle, there are serious flickers,it seems like they get too much exposure, I don't know why this happen, hope anyone could give me any helps! Thanks!

Will standard materials cause this if they are rendered by Vray?

make sure there are no lingering raytrace maps or materials if some objects are imported from other sources

No not Vray Caustincs. GI caustics, they on top of GI pannel refractive is ticked on.

Replace standard materials with Vray materials
Do a quick test, do a global overide material to grey vraymatl. Do the test and let us know if bug is still there...

This will clean up if its geometry/shader/light/etc issue.

                  Thanks, bye.

Personally,I don't think that's a bug, because it happened after i imported one building from another source.I then hided the building, precalculated the lightcache again, then displayed the building and rendered them again, the very serious flickers were gone, but there were still small flickers, especially the trees and the archaic buildings.I think it's the models or other settings' problem...I'll do the test sometime as you said, and give you the result later on...thanks a lot...
