  • phoenix for maya fd field

the phoenix fd field bug the simulation.
the smoke rise normally when the fd field is not connected and as soon as u connect it it get frozen, the smoke and temperature are still emitted but don't rise anymore.
the source is particles, they emit smoke and temp in a volume, another set of particles is supposed to be driven by that fluid.

You must disable the interaction between the Phoenix field and the simulator. This is not done automatically and you get this strange effect. Aside from this, I've found a bug related to the time scale calculation, so for now use the "Ignore Time Scale" option in the field attributes. This will be fixed in the next nightly/beta.

See the Interaction section. There is a set called phxsim_set1. By default it excludes objects from the simulation.
