  • Landscape rendering: looking for decent trees and bushes 3d models

    Can anyone help me?

I'm an architecture student and I'm designing a square. I've tried rendering with some realistic looking 3D trees but it didn't look good in the end.

    Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest using cut-off trees. IMHO it's a good and realistic looking solution. In SU set them as "component" and "face camera".

Yeah, cut-off transparency trees. Using real would make it much slower to render anyways. I find myself only use it when there's a good location for a nice plantaries. I never try using real 3D plants when it has to be repeated many times (thus making render slower, again).

Search for "tiago" in warehouse, he shares nice 3Ds. So if you want plants or trees, search "tiago plant" or "tiago trees".
