Either you have another 2d sketchup plane that is overlapping the original floor or just a few mm over it, OR you painted the floor on the back side. I found this issue not long ago, mostly on materials painted on "back side" of an object. I will usually reverse it though and repaint the material, it will usually solve the problem.
Or you could create a new material (pack your flooring if you already have VRay attributes in it), then load new one (don't duplicate existing). Pick the "select all objects using this material" on the broken floor material, and then select the new material and pick the "apply material to selection". Delete the old flooring materials and see if it helps.
You could also try deleting the floor 3d object, create a new one and apply the floor material onto it. Hope it helps.

There is no other 2d plane, and it is the front side.
I've tried making a new material like you said, but that didn't work either.
Deleting the floor and remaking it doesn't even work.
