Texture of the V-ray indefinite plane?

How to define the texture of the Vray indefinite plane?
I can see that this indefinite plane is not an ordinary object, so it must have some other way of applying a material to it.

The V-Ray infinite plane takes material the same way as any other object.

Do you know since which version was this implemented. I searched the forum and saw a lot of people with similar problems, few years ago.
I am using 1.05 version of Vray for Rhino.

Hmm, good question. I am using 1.50, so I don't know what happens in 1.05. However, I did used to use 1.05 and I don't remember having any problems with it.
