Looking for hdri with water / sea for rendering a schip / boat.
I'd say any hdri with a skyline and a clear horizon would work if you make your own water plane to go underneath it? Water is an easy material to make since it's pretty much just reflections!
You could use a regular HDRI with some cloud reflection and then add the water and the sky in photoshop. The sky image doesn't have to be 100% identical to the HDRI, but should look similar to it.
That is thou but i'm looking for a hdri in the middle of a lake with houses or a bridge or the shore like jou can find in dutch (sweet) waters. (see www.3dlinedesign.nl )
Do you have some examples?
If you're in the middle of a lake, the buildings and trees on the side will be very very small in the hdri, so probably won't even show up in reflections. If you need them to show up in the background, you will need a background plate anyway. So for hdri the only thing you need is a sunny sky with maybe some clouds, try here http://www.aversis.be/hdri/index-individual.htm
You can filter for 'sunny sky'.
If you really need a custom map, contact me as I live in Belgium so if you have a boat I can shoot a custom map for you
Thanks for helping me out, i'm gonna use a picture in the background !!
Ps. Ik woon in Friesland(Holland) dus als je een keertje wilt zeilen kan je altijd mee. Misschien wel een leuk idee om een foto in het water voor een dorp te nemen.
