  • applying HDR images to rectangular lights

I cant seem to find an option to attach HDR images to rectangular lights, is this possible? I can apply textures to dome lights however.

I seem to be having quite a bit of trouble duplicating a scene from 3ds Max in rhino. I have set up the exact same light multipliers and sizes. As well exposure controls and in Rhino the render is super white bright. I can send in a file if someone wouldn't mind taking a look?

Camera settings and the environment will also be important settings to look at.

Yep already set the exposure and gamma up. Settings as far as I can see are like for like.

Could it be the light multipliers? A default value of 30 in 3ds Max might be too bright in Rhino, so perhaps in Rhino it is better to use multipliers as low as 2 or 3 as I cant seem to find any other explanation :/

            Hi James
Can you send me the two files and textures (everything, Rhino and 3ds max scene)?
No, We don't have a way to add textures to a rectangular light. What you can do is use a plane with emissive material. But remember that our emissive material is not a direct light.
