Video RAM Question

Hi All,

Currently I have a nvidia Quadro FX 3700 which has 512 MB of dedicated video memory, would it be beneficial to upgrade my graphics card to 1 GB of video RAM? I'm looking for ways to speed up render time. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
