  • New version of Vray

    Hi.

    I would buy Vray but I heard that a new version would come out shortly.
    I will not buy the version 1.49.01 then a new version will be released soon.
    Is this true?

    You arrived at the nick of time because you have just started trying VfSU. Don't worry, just play around with VfSU 1.49.01 (30 day demo) and when u're happy with it, just buy. You'll still be able to update to newest version of VfSU when they come out. Updates are free.'

        I wouldn't be so sure about that - the vray for rhino new version cost a certain amount for the upgrade. My guess is that there will be a similar upgrade path, and that it won't be free...

            if i realized well, according to an email I received from Chaosgroup, the updating for Rhino was free during 30 days, and then would pass to be paid, ( I could be wrong)

              My recollection is that there was a cost associated with the rhino upgrade and moving to a dongle licensing system.
              $250 is the number I seem to find in some of my older posts, but I can't locate an original source...
