  • Baking Dirt (ambient occlusion) map for texturing reason

    Hi
I'm trying to back a ambient occlusion map out of vray. but i don'r realy get it to work.
I asigned a vray material and pluged a dirt node in the color slot.
Then i assigned under lighting/shading >> assign single vray bake option to selection
under lighting / shading i tried the bake with vray command but i got just a black image.

    Any help?

    thanks a lot

Thanks for the answer. With the Vray Light material i have the same problem as with the vray standart material.
In Mental Ray there is an easy way to bake abient occlusion via batch bake. I'm trying to chief something like this.
