Yes, if you are working on a 64bit OS. Rhino 4 was able to use 3.6GB if you have installed 5GB or more. R5 64 can use so much RAM you have installed and my impression VfR 1.5 need 1GB more than 1.05 for complex scenes.
I rendered complex scenes with 10BG RAM usage in the last weeks.

      Hi, Micha
How are you? I just rendered a scene with material id and it seems to be aliased?! Is there a setting that I need to change in order to get a nice smooth anti-aliasing?

      Thank you

The render ID is without AA. I'm not sure for what is can be used.

No idea, material ID works perfect here. OK, I use a nightly build, but I can't remember that there was a problem in the past.

          Hi Puha0941

What is the V-Ray version that you are using.
Can you post a simple scene?

Material ID should have anti-aliasing, but Render ID doesn't have Anti-aliasing. Are you sure you are using Material ID or are you using Render ID?
