Vray 1.5 rendering pipes flat

I`m having trouble rendering pipes on vray1.5, the round pipes come out squared ! I'm pretty sure the issue resides on Vray because I rendered them with the rhinorender and they came out nice and round.

Thanks for posting these examples.

I'm not able to reproduce this with a simple setup.
What approach is used to create the pipes for this scene?
Would it be possible to post simple rhino file in order to investigate further?
