I was here working on a few materials and kept making subtle changes to the materials but sometimes I want to see how the materials look just before the change was made even before applying it to a model so my question is, is there a script or something similar to the vray frame buffer for 3ds max materials that allows a user to compare a before and after of a material meanwhile its being worked on just as we can compare two images in the vray frame buffer. Just asking. This would make things a little nicer.

have a split screen option when viewing materials to compare a before and after of a material as you are working on it so you simply drag to the left or right and see what changes were just made to that material instead of copying the material to another sample slot, just like the compare feature in the vray frame bufferArchitectural and Product Visualization at MITVIZ
