  • Crash: Conflit with JPP plugin

    Hi there,

it seems there is a serious conflict with V-Ray and this popular plugin:

    http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6708

With both installed you can crash sketchup by.

    1) Draw a cube
    2) Group it
    3) go into group
    4) Extrude using Joint Push Pull

    5) Now as soon as you exit, SketchUp will crash.

Uninstall V-Ray and this problem does not occur anymore.

I don't have permission to see that post, but thanks for letting me know. It definitely is V-Ray as uninstalling V-Ray fixes the crashes.

We are working to resolve plugin conflicts, but in the meantime, I would suggest that you disable V-Ray from the Window->Preferences->Extensions menu, until you need to actually render something. Typically modeling and rendering are not done at the same time, and most SketchUp plugins deal with the aspect of modeling, more so than anything related to our plugin. We realize this is an inconvenience, and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.
