  • More bounced light in interior

    Hey,

I would like to light this interior with more sunlight. As you can see in the image, there are a good deal of windows in this interior. The whole front is open. I got the sun light to brighten up the interior with the settings as you see, but I would like more. The area lights that I added did not brighten up the room all that much.

    Thanks for looking.

You should be using secondary bounces, light cache is recommended. With no secondary bounces, you get only one bounce from each ray. Set LC multiplier down, maybe 0.7 or so, to start, and increase to increase the brightness of the effect.

As an addition I would like to add that you can also use VrayRectangularLights with Light-Portal option activated , placed outside of the windows openings.
Furthermore if you are using VraySun - you can control the illumination of the sky with Horizon Illum. parameter, if there is no change in the illumination by changing this parameter set the Sky Model to CIE Clear.
