  • Texture maps adjustments

Newbie question. Where do I adjust the size of the texture map (along with the how it is projected) on each object one at a time. I have gotten the maps onto the object by creating Vray materials w maps. Thanks.

Texture mapping is handled by rhino, not Vray. Search rhino help.

Materials, including whatever image maps you might use, are created/adjusted in the vray material editor. Texture mapping - the mapping type, placement, scale, repetition etc of the material is handled on a per-object basis by rhino regardless of the render plug in*. Select the object, open the properties dialog, click on texture mapping. Push F1 and search, it's a big topic and too much to answer generally. I think the old Vray 1.05.29 manual also covered it if you can find one, but it will be for rhino4 not 5.

*ok, certain aspects of texture mapping are (or can be) handled in the Vray material editor. But these are not the 'droids you are looking for.
