Hello,
Are there any plans on ways for V-Ray to create the radial micro scratch patterns as seen on cars? For example: here
This effect is not only seen on cars but on other surfaces such as plastic. As of now I can only see the use of finely detailed bump maps at varying sizes to create this effect, which is time consuming. Or perhaps some post-production work...but since the radial scratches "follow" the highlights this may not be suitable for animations. I was hoping Chaosgroup was working on a simpler, faster and better looking solution to help push the realism of V-Ray even further.
Thank you.
