  • Vray lights Store with irradiance map

Hello, everyone. I had a question about vraylights store irradiance map. My scene have a lot of vray rectlights, it takes me many time to render that, When I check store irradiance map in the rectlight option, it is much faster than before, but there haven't any specular in my render result and it is flat. Is it right? So how can I use that? And what does the function do? thanks very much!

The "store with irradiance map" option only works for diffuse illumination; it loses the speculars.

People use it to speed up renders where they mostly have diffuse materials and speculars are not that important.
