my answer is that you can not. I tried for years but my keyboard is always full of crumbs... despite having done anything to avoid it.

You should construct a cross between a bird-feeder and one of those nerf guns which shoots foam disks that can fire a biscuit directly into your mouth at the touch of a nose.

edit: back on topic, for the interview question you should ask 'can you build me one of these' and if works, they get the job.

Read some article a while back which in a nutshell stated that there are more germs and bacteria on your keyboard and around it on your desk, than there is on a toilet seat.
(Same thing applies for the buttons on an ATM)
                    Kind Regards,

While this may be true, the germs and bacteria on the keyboard are, for the most part, your own. The germs on a toilet seat, could be someone else's...

I spilt cranberry juice on the keyboard of my laptop. The keyboard had to be replaced...

did you know you can wash keyboards?

i had a beer/keyboard interface issue once and the keys all got glued down. with nothing to lose (and a good idea it would work) i submerged it in the bath and watched in horror as the water turned black. a bit of key massaging and a long soak, then leave it to dry in a warm place for ages. as long as all the water has evaporated it should work fine after.
