  • Particle System based on Water

    Hi!
I'm currently trying to do some destruction with Liquid from Phoenix FD. I thought I could use a Particle System with the Phoenix Birth and the Phoenix force for it, so I have some Objects for Rayfire. But when I set everything up the particles aren't following the liquid. They are just starting at the emitter and then behaving a lot different. Could someone maybe explain me how I have to set the particle system up?

    Thank you!

the particles do not follow the liquid, they just are transported by the velocity, that exists in the air too.
my suggestion: use the test operator to kill the particles outside the liquid. select in the test operator the temperature channel (the liquid is stored in this channel) and set the level to 0.5

i carried out a very fast test, and have some additional info
    - you have to add particle age test and delete particles by age. this is needed because the older water will contain more particles compared to the new born water.
    - the particles that leave the simulator's box remain frozen, you have to delete them by additional operator, if they are a problem of course.
here is the scene that i made for the test
