Vray Student Educational license

Hey hey.

I just have a small question befor I'll buy the Vray Student license:

Am I able to use the same upgrade options as normal commercial-licenses?
There are two points I'm really interessted in:

- Vray 3.0 Beta and upgrade to final 3.0 with Student license?
- Upgrade to fully commercial license? Do I have to pay the regular upgrade-price or are there differences if I want to upgrade from the student license?

Would be nice if someone can help me here.

Dear Marcus,

A couple of weeks ago we introduced some significant changes in our academic licensing policy.

Until now students and teachers had the option to purchase perpetual licenses at a discounted price, while now they pay an annual product fee, including all minor updates and major upgrades throughout the year (including the upcoming 3.0 release).
The old perpetual academic licenses allowed a direct upgrade to the commercial version, but I'm afraid that option is not available anymore.
