  • Resizing the V-Ray Options dialogue box

I'm currently using a hi-dpi display (3200x1800), running Windows 8.1, but rather irritatingly the options dialogue for V-Ray 2.0 is not large enough, and horizontal resizing is not possible. Scrolling horizontally is really annoying after a while.

See below for a screen displaying what I mean. I tried disabling scaling for Rhino (as I have dpi set at 150%) but that does nothing.

Any ideas how I can force the options menu to be wider so all the options are displayed?

My guess is the way to do it is shrink the text font size somehow, it seems very large. I don't know of a Rhino setting for it but a Windows 8 setting might work.

      Hi "stencil"
This seem to be a bug in V-Ray for Rhino, the UI should automatically fix to the correct size, but it is not doing it.

Our UI code is supposed to make it big enough to show our dialog contents and nothing more- our ui doesn't really resize so that is why we don't allow it.

However, apparently our size calculation is not taking some option into account so it is coming up with a size that is too small. We will fix this asap. Sorry for the inconvenience

            Hi
Just to give you an update related to this issue. Joe modified how we determine how wide our options should be - it should now take into account accessibility options, etc.

I have the same or problem.
My screen has 125% zoomed fonts.
              Thanks to fix it
