Hello guys,

This may be a stupid question; however, I need your help.

I used Vray for rhino several years ago and as far as I remember, there was a vray material for rhino(vismat) official site which materials updated from time to time.

However, I tried to find some new materials other than basic materials through chaosgroup site and I can't find any.

I know some websites including vraymaterials.de provides vray materials, but it's for 3ds Max.

Of course I know how to create new materials, but sometimes it's easier to find right materials from libraries: for example, Maxwell render provides material library website.

Please someone guides me now.

You should be able to find the library in the download section of Chaosgroup's website.

However, there is only a message:

And no materials poped out. I tried with another computer and still doesn't show up any materials.

Hello.

I'm still don't know how I can get access to the material.

This shouldn't be hard like this.

I even try to access to the link(http://www.chaosgroup.com/en/2/downl...-ray-materials) with the computer in the office and still it doesn't show below section.

Both computer use window 7, 64 bit and I'm pretty sure there is some technical issues in the site.

Chaos group...Can you please.. check it ?

I don't know what to say ... it works for me. Try to clear the cache, temp files, etc.
I got a message from Chaosgroup this morning saying that there had beed a breach attempt and reccomended everybody to reset my password

I did them all. Still not working. I've been thinking there is no section like that anymore..
I got the same message and this site seems not stable at all.. I already create several ids.. for access.
I hope they fix it as soon as possible..

I got it.

If i set mineral wool for x-deirection and EPS for y-direction, then the material would have mineral wools property in x-direction and EPS property in y-direction. Am I right?

However, in practice, it is not possible to have mineral wool in x-direction and EPS in y-direction. Should I just keep the two directions the same?
