  • Render mask with hiddden or invisible vraylight problem

Hi guys, i notice that if i will use the new render mask option in a scene where i have a vray light plane in front of the camera ( it is hidden and invisible so no light is rendered ) the render mask do not ignore the light. All the pixel behind the light will be black.

Someone got the same problem? how can i solve it?
    Thanks. Alessandro

    Hello,

This is a known limitation of the render mask selected option - it doesn't check if the hit object is transparent or not. As a workaround you could add the vray light to the selection, or use a texture mask.

We are looking for some better solution to this problem.
