  • MotionOcclusion Node?

There is this new Texture in Vray 3.0 called MotionOcclusion:

I tested a lot with it but I can't get any usefull results.
It looks like it's only mapping the X and Y coordinated of the Rendering to the Object:

Can anybody declair what this is used for?
    MotioOcclusions sounds quite interessting

The two outputs give you the screen coordinates and camera occlusion for the shaded point at the start of the motion blur interval (backward occlusion) and at the end of the motion blur interval (forward occlusion). To be honest I have absolutely no idea how these are used. My guess would be some kind of advanced 2D motion blur... We were asked to implement these, so there they are. There are some specifics to get them to work though (like f.e. they require moblur to be on to do anything useful).

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
