  • VRay Physical Camera to Nuke

I am switching to nuke for animation but I have not been able to export the vray camera. How is everyone exporting their vray physical cameras to nuke? I've seen a couple of plugins but they seem to have been written a long tima ago and I wondered if the pipeline has changed and there is a new way to import the cameras.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

As far as I know Nuke script is still required to get this working.

I've been using this http://polygonspixelsandpaint.tumblr...st/40175774250 to get cam directly from exr output, pretty sweet, had to subtract 90 from z to get rotations right, other than that all is good.

this one also had a recent update, but i haven't tested it yet : http://fagmario.com/site/?page_id=414

Thanks a lot Tashko and kimgar for the replies.

I'm trying this script by Gavin Greenwalt, it's pretty cool although it does not export the lights yet

I will try out your suggestions

Assuming you´re on Max, try NukeOps:
          http://blog.duber.cz/3ds-max/nukeops...-nuke-workflow
          from Lukáš Duběda.

Best and simplest i have tested.
          Just tested with std cams.
          Cheers
