I recently downloaded Vray 3 for Max 2015 and the render settings keep reverting back to default every few minutes or any time I make a change to my scene. Is anyone else having this issue?

If you are using the demo version, disable the Autosave function of 3ds Max and it should be fine.

I've un-ticked Auto Backup and rebooted but I'm still having the same issue. Also, when I try to save a preset, everything reverts.Comment

Ok, can you tell me which V-Ray version did you download and also which 3ds Max version you are using?

I'm using 3ds Max 2015 and Vray 3 demo. My settings appear to be retained, but I am still unable to save any presets without them reverting.Comment

The demo version doesn't allow saving V-Ray settings as a 3DSMax render preset - that's why the settings are automatically reverted to their default values.
V-Ray Presets should work fine:
