I've been reading some stuff about materials on this this (http://www.workshop.mintviz.com/tuto...terials-guide/)
and it mentioned something about IOR, the only problem is it's in the context of an older version which has only has Fresnel IOR in contrast to 2.0 that has both 'IOR' and 'Refract IOR'. What's the difference between the two?
I also read on the same site that for 'one-plane' glass (which is what I'm using on the model I've downloaded), i should use an IOR of 1.0. I've tried setting both IORs under fresnel to 1.0 to no avail. (I've also tried the default 1.55 IORs and I still can't get the gloss I want on the glass)
This is what I get:
This is what I want to get:
Note the reflection of the chair on the glass and its gloss as compared to my render.
I've downloaded the model online in an effort to practice v-ray, they provided the model and a render in v-ray.

Also, I have trouble posting on other sections.
