  • Motionblur for Animated Vray Fur

I have a Scene were I us Vray Fur for grass.
I used multible Noises to Animate the movement of the Fur.
My only Problem now is that I can't get Motionblur or a working Velocity Pass for the movement.

I tried using other Animated Input's that Textures but that didn't work.

Is there any Workaround for that Problem?

Can you get us the scene (or a simplified version of it) for investigation?

I made this Scene to Isolate the Problem. It's just a Plane with VrayFur and two Mixed noises for the movement. nothing else.

I am Using Maya 2014 and Vray 2.45.01

Unfortunately this is not supported and VRay won't be able to render motion blur and velocity with animated initial direction.
We can see if we can implement this in the future, but for the moment this won't work.

Is there any kind of news about this feature? 8 years have passed. Can we motion blur Vrayfur animations?

Higher-priority tasks have constantly pushed this back over the years and it's still in the backlog, I'm afraid.
