  • bug visible to camera

If I disable the properties in the Phoenix "object Properties"> "visible to camera" we see only a reflection / lighting.

But if I put in the foreground plane with opacity map that simulates a dirty lens. That visible to camera does not work.

can't reproduce it here, seems to works correctly. can you put a simple box beside the simulator and to check how the same option behaves for it?

You are right! This is not a phoenix, the box is also seen!
Perhaps vray calculates it as refraction of plane. And not as objects with the option visible to camera.

A pity, now will have a compositing dirty lens.

Can I use only the light from the simulation of the Phoenix. In order not to be seen of the fire and smoke?
        Maybe there is a way?

i think you gave up too fast
as i said, i was unable to reproduce the problem, perhaps your material put on the plane is not just transparent, i tried with standard material with opacity map, and the objects behind it was visualized properly. as developer i know that vray keeps the same ray when goes through semitransparent object, but the refractive objects are producing secondary rays, that are considered not to be camera rays.
