  • vray rendernodes and max 2010

    hello,

i am about to buy vray, on the sellers pahe they say the rendernodes for vray 3 work only from max 2011 up while vray itself works from max 2009 up. Is that correct or just a typo? I was asking the seller directly they werent sure themselves. So is anyone of you using vray 3 with max 2010 rendernodes?

    thank you mad4d

in the end it seems to boil down to backburner having changed in 2011, but is that preventing me from using backburner 2008 (plus max 2010) for vray 3.0?

Any experiences or knowlegde highly appreciated thank you

Render nodes for DR, or for backburner rendering? I don't know of any issues with 2010, but I guess we can try to test it here.

      Best regards,
      Vlado

Generally V-Ray version have nothing in common with BackBurner version. If you can send a job via BackBurner to 3ds Max 2010 (with installed V-Ray 3.0) you shouldn't have any problems render the scene.
