Hi all,
I have a machine with Rhino 5 and v-ray 2.0, and another with the render spawner service installed. They are connected to the same Wifi network.
When I assign the slave machine in hosts by entering the name, the IP comes up right when I click 'resolve servers'
The problem arises when I start rendering. Then there is no connection initiated and I only get activity from the CPU of my host machine.
The slave machine has both vray for rhino and sketchup installed, but I launched the spawner through the start menu --> Chaos group --> vray for rhino --> distributed rendering.... So I guess this shouldn't be the issue.
I have also allowed 'XMLDRSpawner' through the windows firewall on the slave machine. Could it be rhino on the host machine is not allowed through? and how could I check the connectivity in general?
Hope you can help me solve this.
Cheers..
